Statement of Faith and Doctrine 1. Shepherd's Voice, The Little Flock Church and I are not affiliated with
ANY CHURCH DENOMINATION OR MOVEMENT. I am independant and non-denomination, though my
original affliiation and training was Assemblies of God. 2. We believe that there is one God. We believe that He has revealed Himself
to man through His Son, Jesus and that He continues to reveal Himself through
the Holy Spirit. ![]()

3. We believe in the Trinity, the three persons which make up the "Godhead".
Those three persons consisting of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three
persons but still one God. The full understanding of this trinity is a mystery,
yet God has shown Himself in all creation, wherein we see a pattern of the
trinity. Man is a trinity. Space is a trinity. Time is a trinity. Matter is
a trinity.
4. We believe in the Fall of Man and that all are born in "trespasses and
sin" as sons of Adam.
5. We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, as the Second member
of the Trinity.
6. We believe in the Virgin Birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
7. We believe that Jesus was both fully God and fully man as He walked in
the earth, Emmanuel, God with us.
8. We believe in His Sinless life and Atoning Work on the Cross, shedding
His blood for our sins.
9. We believe that we are saved totally and completely by "Grace through Faith"
in the finished works of Calvary. There is no other way to salvation and no
means of earning or deserving salvation, for "all our righteousness is filthy
rags" before God.
10. We Believe in the Bodily Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and His
Assencion into Heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the Father.
11. We Believe that Jesus will come again for His body, the Church, as He
promised after which we will spend eternity with Him.
12. We believe the only way into the kingdom of God is by being "Born again"
of the water and spirit according to John 3:5. We do not believe in Baptismal
Regeneration as the Church of Christ. We do not believe that you are saved
by being baptized. If you are baptised as a sinner, you come up a wet sinner
and still not saved. Salvation is by personal faith in the finished work of
Calvary and professing your faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
13 We believe that Jesus did not just come to save men from their sin and
ultimately from hell, but to save them from the power and work of sin and
Satan in this life, and that we might have eternal fellowship with Him, beginning
in this life. Jesus came to destroy the power and work of Satan in our lives
and set us free from all sin and bondage and bring us into the liberty and
freedom He alone gives.
14. We believe that all those who do not trust in Christ for their salvation
and surrender their lives to His Lordship will spend eternity in a literal
Devil's Hell.
15. We Believe that all men will be resurrected, some to eternal life and
the others to eternal damnation. That God will reward all men according to
their works and deeds.
16. We believe in living a holy separated life because we are in this world,
but not of this world. We believe that we are now citizens of the kingdom
of God. This kingdom is an invisible kingdom for Jesus said the 'kingdom of
God cometh not with observation", the "My kingdom is not of this world" and
"The kingdom of God is within you."
17. We do not believe in the Ecumenical Movement nor do we believe that the
Roman Catholic Church, out of which the Ecumenical movement was begun, to
be of God or True Christianity. There are articles that deal with these things
on the Ecumenical and Roman Catholic page listing.
18. We believe in the Full Gospel and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as a
separate experience from that of being "Born Again" of the Spirit. We believe
that the power and all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for us today. We believe
in the Old time Pentecost. The Doctrine of the Apostles and the Faith once
delivered to the saints cannot be compromised if the church is to fulfill
it's mission as "the pillar and ground (or support) of the truth" according
to 1Timothy 3:15.
19. We do not believe that "Speaking in Tongues" is necessary for salvation
or that if you do not speak in tongues that you are not saved. This is also
not scriptural. We do not believe that all who speak in tongues are of God,
for people by demons can also 'speak in tongues' because Satan, though not
an originator or creator, can imitate or counterfeit the things of God, including
false gifts of the spirit, false miracles, etc. So as speaking in tongues
is not necessary for salvation, by itself, it is also not a proof of salvation.
Jesus told us that you will know the tree by the fruit it produces. Also we
are told that we must have a discernment of spirits to know which spirit is
of God and which is not of God. But we do believe that 'speaking in tongues'
as all the gifts of the spirit are still for us today.
20. We do not believe in Unity at any cost, Unity at the cost of Truth and
Biblical Doctrine. We do not believe in unity based upon a single experience
or doctrine, as 'speaking in tongues.' We do not believe in such groups as
the "Promise Keepers" that are a man-made Unity and not following the Full
Gospel of Jesus Christ and Doctrines of the Apostles.
21. We believe in the power of Prayer for God still answers prayer today and
so we have a prayer submission page.
22. We believe that Divine Healing is for today and have experienced it and
have seen many others experience it in person and in our ministry.
23. We believe that men are still possessed of demons today as in Jesus day,
but by the power of the Holy Spirit and by the Authority of His Word and calling,
we believe and have witnessed people being set free from the bondages of demon
powers and delivered from demons.
24. We believe that all the other gifts of the spirit are in operation today
and in that the five-fold ministry to the body is being restored and there
are modern day apostles and prophets as well as pastors, evangelists and teachers.
25. We believe in living a holy, separated and sanctified life without with
no man will see the Lord.
26. We do not believe that Women can have authority over men, either in the home or the church. We do not agree with
women can do anything in a church that men can do as preach, teach, prophecy, operate in the gifts of the spirit, but
we do not believe that they can be an Apostle or a Pastor, unless along side their husbands, who is the main pastor
of the church (ie. co-pastors). But a woman cannot usurp authority or have the ultimate authority in a church when
decisions have to be made.
27. We believe that in all cases, the truth and what is right Biblically is in the middle between the two extremes
that are represented. Like a train that runs on two tracks. Like Law and Grace. You cannot have all one without the
other. Some want all Grace and you end up with a license to sin. Others all Law and you end up with pure legalism.
Such it is with any issue or doctrine, even as the issue of women's roles in the church above. There is always a balance
in scripture which is in the middle between the two extremes that men try to make.
28.There are 12 major Doctines in the New Testament, and all other teachings
come under those. There are many verses for each of these doctines, but only
one is given here - the 12 major doctrines are:
1) Salvation Acts4:12,
2) Justification Rom.5:12,
3) Water Baptism Matt.28:19,
4) Sanctification 1Thess4:3,
5) Baptism of Holy Spirit Matt.3:11,
6) Laying on of hands Heb.6:2,
7) The Second Coming of Christ Act 1:11-12,
8) The Resurrection of the Dead Heb.6:2,
9) Judgment of the Righteous 1Pet.4:5,
10) Judgment of the Unrighteous Rev.20:11,
11) Eternal Life for the righteous Jn.3:15,
12) Eternal Punishment for the wicked Rev.20:4.
This is a short statement of faith.
